Quote of The Day - John F. Kennedy
“We are not afraid to entrust the American people with unpleasant facts, foreign ideas, alien philosophies, and competitive values. For a nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people.”
- John F. Kennedy

So how come it is that when the Generals and everyone are putting together their “war story” in September, that all of the information is going to be presented to the President for him to put together the documents for submission to Congress?
I guess maybe times have changed?

“You want a toe? I can get you a toe, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don’t wanna know about it, believe me.”
- John Goodman’s character, Walter, in The Big Lebowski
Kennedy’s quote sounds an awful lot like Barack Obama’s recent campaign speeches.
